Copyright Policy

Originality and Authorship

  • The Legal Gazette accepts only original manuscripts that have neither been submitted for publication nor published elsewhere in any form.

  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts do not infringe upon the rights of others and do not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or misleading statements.

  • The submitting author must have obtained necessary permissions from all co-authors (if any) before submission.

 

Copyright Ownership

  • The copyright of the published manuscripts remains with The Legal Gazette.

  • Authors retain moral rights over their work; however, The Legal Gazette holds exclusive rights to publish, distribute, and modify the work for publication purposes.

  • Any manuscript written during an internship at The Legal Gazette shall be the exclusive intellectual property of The Legal Gazette for the lifetime of the work.

  • The Legal Gazette may assign its rights under this agreement as required.

 

Rights and Usage

  • The Legal Gazette reserves the sole right to publish the manuscript in the journal, website, or any other platform with necessary editorial amendments to make it suitable for publication.

  • All open-access content published on The Legal Gazette is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA) License.

  • The platform holds ownership of the content while crediting the author(s) appropriately.

 

Plagiarism and Liability

  • The Legal Gazette takes reasonable measures to ensure no plagiarized content is published.

  • If an article is found to be plagiarized or in violation of third-party rights, the author(s) will bear full legal responsibility, and The Legal Gazette shall not be liable for any claims or damages arising from such disputes.

 

Copyright Agreement

Authors whose manuscripts are selected for 'journal publication' must complete and submit the Copyright Agreement Form, which will be shared with the selected individuals through the official email before the final publication.
