The Legal Gazette publishes original, well-researched, and high-quality content related to legal topics, including articles, case comments, legislative comments, and book reviews. The content should be relevant, informative, and adhere to professional standards of writing, research, and analysis.
1. Submission Guidelines:

Submissions are accepted from academicians, authors, legal professionals, and students from India and abroad.
1.2 Categories:

Articles: Comprehensive analyses of legal topics, including theoretical pieces. Articles should engage with the relevant literature, survey current practices, identify gaps, and offer innovative assessments or suggestions.

Case Comments: Analysis of contemporary judicial pronouncements, including a copy of the case. Case comments should trace the line of cases, discuss the implications of the decision, and comment on the evolution of that branch of law.

Legislative Comments: Analysis of legislative actions or policy proposals, including a copy of the legislation or policy. Legislative comments should identify the object and expected impact of the legislative action or policy proposal.

Book Reviews: Critical evaluation of books related to the publication's theme. Book reviews should provide a thorough description, analysis, and evaluation of the quality, meaning, and significance of the book in relation to the publication's theme.
2. Authorship and Originality:
2.1 Original and Unpublished Work:
All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review by any other journal, platform or any other medium of publication including but not limited to E-publication. Plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in disqualification.
2.2 Co-authorship:
Up to two co-authors are allowed for articles and book reviews. Case comments and legislative comments must be single-authored.
3. Review Process:
3.1 Double-blind Review:
All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process to ensure quality and adherence to editorial standards. In a double-blind review, the identities of the authors and reviewers are not revealed to each other, ensuring an unbiased evaluation.
3.2 Review Timeline:
The review process may take up to 7 days, during which authors will be notified of any required revisions or changes.
4. Authenticity and Integrity:
4.1 Plagiarism Checks:
The Legal Gazette employs AI text verification tools and plagiarism checks to verify the authenticity and originality of submitted content.
4.2 Additional Information:
Authors may be required to provide additional information or clarification during the verification process.
5. Copyright and Ownership:
5.1 Copyright Transfer:
Upon publication, the copyright of the content belongs to The Legal Gazette. Authors retain the right to be identified as the original creators of their work.
5.2 Republication:

The Legal Gazette accepts electronic submissions only, in Word format (.doc or .docx), along with a (.pdf) copy.
8.2 Submission Requirements:
Submissions must include but are not limited to the manuscript, author information, qualifications, institutional affiliation, title of the paper, and a declaration of originality.
